Here is the plot summary of "After Earth": One thousand years have passed since the catastrophic events that drove humanity to abandon their dying planet and seek refuge on a new home, Nova Prime. Set 1,000 years after humanity's desperate escape from a devastated Earth, 'After Earth' fails to deliver a compelling narrative, instead relying on stunning visuals. Will Smith's performance as General Cypher Raige is overshadowed by a lackluster storyline and weak character development. Despite the promise of an intriguing post-apocalyptic world, the film falls short in exploring its themes and emotions, leaving audiences with a hollow and unfulfilling experience.
